mescea is a family’s website, a rather homely blog, and also a nucleus of superfluous writings by someone who has no aspirations or ambitions to become a writer (actually, he’s rather ambivalent). you’ll find postings, pages, pictures and pedantic paragraphs about God, missions and musings on musty old misfits (e.g. friends).
mescea is an archaic italian word meaning to be poured out. as a family on the foreign mission field, that’s exactly what it feels like when deployed. thanks for finding us, browsing a bit, or even bookmarking us (but only if you happened here by complete misfortune). alternatively, hit the rss feed and you’ll never have to come back in order to keep up!
but while you’re here, you may as well check out our new pages (look over to your right… farther… farther… yep! that’s them) to see our latest postings and information. soon, more pages will begin to appear labeled with updates on our march towards foreign shores and what it’s like wading into the deep end of the mission-sending pool. enjoy!
