Our Progress

We’ve been serving in Sicily since August 2013.

We are working with indigenous church leaders to ignite a church-planting movement in Sicily: a life-long passion developed over 25 years of visiting, ministering and praying.

History | We met at Bible College in the mid-90s (after several trips to Sicily), married, and served for over 10 years in stateside vocational ministry. We’ve worked with two nationally recognized Christian businesses, and even pastored for a year and a half in northern Europe.

Through it all, the pull to plant churches in Sicily has never waned. In 2008, we returned to our home, sending church in Nashville, TN to prepare our family for long-term service. We were sent in 2013 and are currently working to ignite a church-planting movement in eastern Sicily.

FIRST TERM COMPLETED! [August 2016]

Our “first term” objectives – the foundational phase of life and ministry – were clear:

  1. Get our family settled (a new “home”),
  2. Navigate the bureaucracy of living abroad,
  3. Learn the language (and some dialect),
  4. Acclimate to a foreign culture, and
  5. Identify potential partners for ministry
